Energy and Environmental Materials Lab. (EEML)
Youn Research Group
Welcome to the Youn Group
Energy and Environmental Materials Laboratory (EEML)
Our lab aims to develop efficient and innovative materials to address present energy and environmental problems. For a more sustainable future, we are focusing on:
1. Hydrogen Energy Conversion - Fuel Cells, Water Splitting
2. Energy Storage - Li-ion Batteries, Na-ion Batteries
3. Catalysis - Fisher-Tropsh Reaction, CO2 Hydrogenation

Positions Available
We are currently looking for highly motivated graduate students (master & PhD) and undergraduate students who are interested in EEML. Interested students, please don't hesitate to contact Prof. Youn. (youndh@kangwon.ac.kr).
Our consortium has been selected for the CCUS Convergence Graduate Program
(CCUS 융합대학원), funded by KETEP. Graduate students in EEML will be eligible for financial
support through this program (25. 05 ~ 29.12).
Our consortium for hydrogen safety cluster (K-Hysafe) has been selected for the Graduate
School of Energy Convergence, funded by KETEP. Graduate students in EEML can be
financially supported by this program (22. 04 ~ 26. 12).
